Welcome, approve apologies, declarations of interest
Approve the Draft Minutes of the previous meeting as a correct record
Matters Arising
Councillors may provide the meeting with updates on any content of the previous minutes
County and Borough Councillor Reports – for information only
Cllrs Purcell and Cllr K Salter will provide their reports to update the Council on County and Borough activities.
Allotments/Grazing Land
Cllr Watson will brief Councillors on the following:
a request for Field E from an allotment holder.
a new proposal of an addition to the tenancy agreements and request Councillors approval to the change.
update Councillors on the progress made with plot 18.
update Councillors on the new social media facebook page that has been introduced.
Speed Management Project
The Council will discuss the new Speed Management System and decide if any additional locations are required for assessment by LCC.

Playground Inspection Contract
Councillors will review the Pendle Borough Council’s (PBC) safety inspection and maintenance contract and discuss the recent mail from Operational Services at PBC regarding future support. (Councillors to review email dated 13.10.23)
Councillor IDs
Cllr Mulligan will provide an update on the trial ID process.
Remembrance Sunday
The Chair will brief the meeting on the plans for the Council’s involvement for Remembrance Sunday
Finance
The Council to review and approve payment of recent expenditure.
Review of Parish Asset and Insurance Values – The Clerk will brief the Council on discussions with other Parishes and our insurers, Zurich Insurance, regarding Parish assets and insurance values.
Councillors will then decide what, if any, action the Clerk needs to make.
Planning Applications
Councillors to consider and comment on any new planning applications received
Council Website
Cllr Knowles will brief the Council on updating the website including feedback from colleagues.
Horticulture
Cllr A Salter will update the Council on preparations for the Autumn/Winter planting.
Cllr Mulligan will brief on the plan for the village hall hanging baskets.
Community Update
The Chair will brief the Council on support to the Cricket Club to find grants that will enable them to improve the Pavilion for their members.
Correspondence
The Clerk will brief the Council on any correspondence received
