- Welcome and approve apologies
- Approve the Draft Minutes of the previous meeting as a correct record
- Matters Arising
Councillors may provide the meeting with updates on any content of the previous minutes
4. County and Borough Councillor Reports – for information only
Cllrs Purcell and Cllr K Salter will provide their reports to update the Council on County and Borough activities.
5. Water Pipe Replacement
Councillors to be briefed by the Chair on the work carried out to replace the water pipe from Skipton Old Road to the Cricket Club. This will include the new water metering system for the Cricket Club, four allotments and the field standpipe.
6. Cricket Club Pavilion
Councillors will discuss the replacement of the cover on the septic tank at the Pavilion.
7. FPC Website
Cllr Knowles will give a brief update of changes and would like colleagues to check our website to see if they would like to recommend any updates/changes or new material to be displayed.
8. Over 60’s Christmas Party
Cllrs A Salter and Nicholson will brief the Committee on the plan and arrangements for this year’s Over 60’s Christmas Party to be held in the Village Hall.
9. Finance
Approve payments
Clerk will give an update on the External Audit
Approval of £100 donation towards the church Festival of Light and Angels
Councillors to note that the VAT refund of £1762.06 for the last financial year has been received.
10. Planning Applications
23/0590/HHO PROPOSAL: Full: Erection of a single storey side extension and associated retaining wall. AT: The Bungalow, Reedymoor Lane, Foulridge
11. Horticulture
Cllr A. Salter and Cllr P. Mulligan will brief the committee on the present situation regarding planters in the village.
Cllr Mulligan will update the committee on the Best Garden competition
12. Allotments/Grazing Land
Cllrs Watson and Whitfield will give an update on the work that has been carried out at the allotments
Discussion on the proposals given to the Allotment Society
Discussion on the next steps re Plots 4c, 18 and 22c
Cllrs will discuss possible avenues for the use of Field E once tenant vacates at the end his current agreement
13. Community Update
Events that are planned by FPC Autumn Arts and Craft Fair 1st October 2023. The Christmas over 60s lunch on the 14th December 2023. The Children’s Christmas Party on the 17th December 2023.
FofF are having a Garage Sale and they have booked in for 17th September 2023. They only need the Kitchen and toilets. A £20 charge has been agreed.
