Remembrance Sunday 8th November

Remembrance Day is a time for us to remember the people who gave their lives during
times of war and conflict.

Unfortunately this year, due to Covid-19, the Parish Council are unable to hold a service
at the War Memorial but that does not mean that we have forgotten.

Foulridge War Memorial is surrounded by poppies and a special flag has been raised.
Four wreaths have been placed at the foot of the Cenotaph from the Pendle Mayor,
Pendle Borough Council, Foulridge Parish Council and Foulridge Social Club.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget
