Welcome, approve apologies, declarations of interest

Approve the Draft Minutes of the previous meeting as a correct record

Matters Arising

Councillors may provide the meeting with updates on any content of the previous minutes

County and Borough Councillor Reports – for information only

Cllrs Purcell and Cllr K Salter will provide their reports to update the Council on County and Borough activities.

Allotments/Grazing Land

Cllrs Whitfield and Mulligan will brief the Council on their discussions with the resident who would like to rent Field E.

Councillors to discuss and inform the Clerk on the proposed rental charges for the next financial year.

Cricket Pavilion

Cllrs K. Salter and Mulligan will brief the Council on the status of the insurance claim for the storm damage to the pavilion and actions required.

Councillors will discuss the introduction of a regular inspection of the pavilion to ensure the building is being maintained to the correct standard.

Councillors will review the lease with the Cricket Club and discuss the annual increase to be added in this financial year.

Mobile Telephone Transmitter

Cllr K. Salter will brief the Council on discussion he has had with mobile transmitter providers regarding the poor coverage within the village.

Handyman and Repairs

Cllr Mulligan will brief the Council on the repairs undertaken and projects planned for the new handyman.

Finance

The Council to review and approve payment of recent expenditure.

The Sub-Committee will brief the Council on their decision regarding the annual precept increase.

Cllr K. Salter will introduce the start of the 2024/25 Budget and request Council approval for the Financial Sub-Committee to draft the budget for presentation at the Council’s meeting in March.

 Planning Applications

Councillors will consider and comment on any new planning applications that have been received

 Horticulture

Cllr A Salter will update the Council on the new planters and the sponsorship by Skipton  Properties.

Community Update

Councillors can introduce any item that they would like the Council to consider for further discussion.

Correspondence

The Clerk will brief the Council on any correspondence received
