1. Election of Chair for the Council Year 2026/27
   To elect the Chair and receive the Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
2. Election of Vice-Chair for the Council Year 2026/27
   To elect the Vice-Chair and receive the Vice-Chair’s Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
3. Chair’s Report for the Municipal Year 2025/26
   Outgoing Chair to present a summary of the Council’s activities and achievements over the past year.

Ordinary Parish Council Meeting Business

4. 4. Welcome, Apologies for Absence, and Declarations of Interest

• To welcome attendees, receive and approve any apologies for absence, and record any declarations of interest.

5. 5. Minutes of the Previous Meeting

• To approve the minutes of the previous meeting as a correct record.

6. Matters Arising

• Councillors may provide updates on matters referred to in the previous minutes.

7. Public Participation

• The meeting will be temporarily adjourned to allow members of the public to raise any suggestions, issues or concerns.

8. County and Borough Councillor Reports (For Information Only)

• LCC Councillor and PBC Councillor will provide an update on County and Borough matters.

9. Allotments and Parish Land

• Updates from Cllrs Mulligan and Whitfield on maintenance and management of allotments and parish land.

10. Handyman and Repairs

• Cllr Mulligan to report on recent repairs completed and upcoming projects.

11. Finance

• To review and approve recent payments and financial activity.
• To receive feedback from recent Financial Sub-Group meetings.
• Note receipt of the first precept payment of £21,808.00
• Note receipt of the VAT refund of £2,627.80
• Approve payment of invoice for LALC membership fees – £291.40

12. Planning Applications

• Councillors to consider and comment on planning applications submitted

13. Horticulture

• Cllr A. Salter to provide an update on recent and upcoming horticultural activities.

14. Lancashire Environmental Fund (LEF)

• Cllr Knowles will provide an update on the status of the LEF Grant application

15. Community Update

• Discussion of any new community matters received since the last meeting.

16. Correspondence

• The Clerk to report on correspondence received since the previous meeting.
